ES/PCI - For Terminal and Printer Emulation in Any Windows Environment

ES/PCI is a hardware/software package that provides powerful, flexible local 5250 terminal and printer emulation for any Windows® environment. By using the Peripheral Controller Interconnect (PCI) interface slot available on new desktop and server PCs, you can link PCs via twinax to an IBM System/36®, Advanced Series/36®, or AS/400®, to emulate a variety of 5250 terminal types and IBM midrange printers. The interface also supports the 5250 data stream by accepting, decoding and executing commands issued from both the personal computer and the control unit.

Based on PCI bus technology, ES/PCI can be easily installed in the latest versions of PCs, using true plug-and-play technology. Additionally, unlike LAN adapters, ES/PCI does not require special addresses or reconfiguration if the PC is moved to a new location.
