DVI Video ExtenderThe VIS-23 features a small package and requires a transmitter power supply (cube, included) for the additional circuitry necessary to power the local display. The VIS-23 is available with a single ST fiber connector and a single DVI-D video connector on both the transmitter and receiver. The VIS-23 video extender has a power indicator light and a link status LED, which will indicate the presence (or lack) of sufficient optical power for the extender to operate within specification, possibly revealing a fiber infrastructure problem, such as a bad connection or a broken fiber.
